Cilantro Lime Baked Salmon
Cilantro Lime Baked Salmon has a delicious garlic and honey glaze. Cooked to perfection in under 30 minutes, sprinkle fragrant cilantro over the moist, flaky fillets. Perfect for busy nights.
Wrap the salmon in foil, which provides moisture while cooking. The fish will be tender and flaky, perfect every time.
Also, the flavors bake right into the salmon; the lime, honey, and garlic. Plus, the salt and pepper brings out the best in all the flavors.
Shown here I had Italian Chickpeas and Orzo with my salmon. So delicious!
Making Cilantro Lime Baked Salmon
Preheat the oven to 350°, and grab a large cookie sheet. You’ll need enough foil to line the sheet, plus have enough to fold over the top and seal.
Slice one lime into thin slices and lay the slices on the foil.
Next, salt and pepper both sides of the salmon, then lay the salmon directly on the lime slices.
In a small bowl, combine the honey, garlic, melted butter, and the juice from 2 limes. Stir, then pour over the salmon. Pretty easy, right?
Now, fold the extra foil over the top and lightly seal. Don’t go crazy here, you’re not sealing in a deep, dark secret. And remember, what you seal, you also have to unseal. So, just fold it over once so it stays in place.
Next, pop the salmon into the preheated oven for 20 – 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven and carefully unseal the foil using a fork and spatula, but not your fingers. Unsealing the foil means releasing the steam, which can burn, so please be careful.
Lastly, sprinkle with the fresh, chopped cilantro. Delicious! …and pretty.
Serve right from the foil. Actually, the foil cools down pretty quickly and can be rolled up so the top’s not flapping around on your dining table. LOL Can you see it?

A quick mention of this wonderful blank recipe book that I helped to create with a very dear friend. Write in one or more recipes before giving it to that special person, then they can fill the remaining pages with their favorites, and/or have other special people write out recipes for them. It’s personal, and yes, it takes time and effort — something we’ve gotten away from with all this technology. Check it out HERE where you can order a hard or soft cover. Once there, click on READ SAMPLE to see the pages within. I especially like the “measurements and conversions” page. Also, I make no money from any sales, I just love the idea of this book.
