Tipsy Walnut Fudge

A smooth and creamy chocolate fudge infused with Kahlua coffee rum liqueur and roughly chopped walnuts.

Materials

  • 7 oz. marshmallow creme (1 jar)
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup Kahlua
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate baking chips (12 oz. bag)
  • 1 cup milk chocolate baking chips
  • 2/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Line an 8 x 8" baking dish with foil.
  • In a large saucepan or pot, combine marshmallow creme, sugar, milk, Kahlua, butter, and salt. Bring to a rapid boil, then reduce to medium heat. Stir constantly for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate. Stir until smooth and melted.
  • Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
  • Pour into baking dish and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until set. To serve, cut into 1" or 2" squares.

Notes

Makes about 2 3/4 pounds of fudge.
