Materials

  • 16 oz. jar of salsa, mild, medium, or hot
  • 2 small tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, pour in jar of salsa. Add the chopped tomatoes, green onions, and avocado.
  • Squeeze lime juice directly onto avocado to prevent browning.
  • Add cilantro and garlic powder and stir.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping on Mexican food. Refrigerate leftovers. Enjoy!

Notes

Chop all ingredients on the smaller side -- easier to pick up with a chip.
Add other favorite ingredients like jalapeno, apple, or strawberry.
