Materials

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic paste
  • 2 tsp. ginger paste
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 25 Ritz Cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In large bowl, mix eggs, soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste, pepper, and green onions. Whisk until well blended.
  • Mix in ground beef and cracker crumbs until thoroughly combined.
  • Press into 9 x 5" loaf pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix hoisin sauce with tomato ketchup, or make some Homemade Asian Ketchup. See Notes below.
  • Drain fat from pan. Spread the hoisin sauce mixture (or 1/4 cup of Homemade Asian Ketchup) over top of meatloaf and bake for another 15 minutes. Allow meatloaf to set for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

In place of the hoisin sauce mixed with tomato ketchup, you can make some Homemade Asian Ketchup, which gives you enough for spreading on top of the meatloaf and for dipping.
