- 1 loaf French Bread, (approx. 16" x 4")
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Cut the bread loaf in half length wise. Butter insides of both halves.
Sprinkle garlic powder and parsley flakes evenly over both halves.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Place cheese-side up on baking sheet and broil in oven just until golden brown. Watch carefully as it will burn quickly once it starts to brown.
Remove bread from oven. Carefully cut pieces diagonally every 2" and serve immediately. Enjoy!
NOTE: For single serving size grab a piece of sliced bread. DO NOT use in a pop-up toaster! You will still need to use the broiler or an oven toaster. Parmesan Garlic Toast needs to remain flat.
The combination of butter, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and parmesan cheese goes great on many different types of bread. Have fun experimenting.
