Equipment

  • 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 quart Crock Pot

Materials

  • 1 onion, thick slices
  • 2 - 3 lb. boneless beef chuck roast
  • salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
  • 2 carrots, roughly chopped
  • 2 - 3 potatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp. beef bouillon powder

Instructions

  • Place onion slices on bottom of crock pot.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder on top and bottom of roast. Place roast on top of onion.
  • Place vegetables around roast.
  • Mix beef bouillon powder with boiling water, pour over roast.
  • Cook on LOW for 9 - 10 hours, or on HIGH for 5 - 6 hours. Enjoy!
