- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 oz. cheddar cheese, finely grated (about 1 cup)
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
In small bowl, mix together butter, cheese, salt, and pepper.
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
IMPORTANT: serve room temperature. If refrigerated, allow to come to room temperature before serving. Enjoy!
Cheddar Cheese Butter can also be frozen. Store in air-tight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
This is also good with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder in it.
