Cheddar Cheese Butter

A buttery cheddar cheese spread perfect for dinner rolls, biscuits, and in sandwiches.

Materials

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 oz. cheddar cheese, finely grated (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  • In small bowl, mix together butter, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • IMPORTANT: serve room temperature. If refrigerated, allow to come to room temperature before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Cheddar Cheese Butter can also be frozen. Store in air-tight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
This is also good with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder in it.
