Materials

  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 9-inch chocolate pie crust
  • 16 oz. heavy whipping cream (1 pint)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3.9 oz. box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips, divided

Instructions

  • Place medium bowl and beaters in freezer to chill while you pull out all the ingredients. (This is optional, but helps when whipping heavy cream.)
  • Slice the two bananas into coins and evenly layer the bottom of the pie crust.
  • Once bowl and beaters are chilled, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla on medium-high speed until medium peaks form, 3 - 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • In large bowl, add dry pudding mix to milk and beat until smooth and creamy. Fold in half the whipped cream mixture and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips. Pour and spread into the crust.
  • Top with remaining whipped cream and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Chill for two hours. Enjoy!
