Strawberry Mojitos

A cool and refreshing drink make with strawberry simple syrup, fresh mint leaves, and white rum.

Materials

  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup strawberry simple syrup*
  • 1/4 cup white rum
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • ice cubes to fill a glass
  • Optional Garnish: fresh mint leaves, a strawberry, wedge or slice of lime

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves with the strawberry simple syrup.
  • Add the rum, lime juice, and enough ice to fill the shaker.
  • Shake for 15 seconds.
  • Then, either strain into a glass filled with ice or pour contents directly into empty glass. Top with club soda and garnish with fresh mint leaves, a strawberry, and/or a wedge or slice of lime. Enjoy!
