No Bake Oreo Pie

This No Bake Oreo Pie is the dessert you make when you want maximum payoff with minimum emotional investment. Thereโ€™s no oven, no candy thermometer, and no pretending this is for a โ€œspecial occasion.โ€ This is a fridge-set, fork-ready situation that tastes like cookies-and-cream cheesecakeโ€™s cooler, more relaxed cousin.

You can absolutely use a store-bought chocolate crust (we love efficiency here), or go full DIY with crushed Oreos and butterโ€”because smashing cookies is cheaper than therapy. Either way, the filling is creamy, fluffy, and studded with chunks of Oreo goodness, which means every bite understands the assignment.

No Bake Oreo Pie has a creamy filling and a delicious cookie crust.

Why Youโ€™ll Love This Recipe

  • No baking required. Your oven can continue doing absolutely nothing.
  • Ridiculously easy. If you can operate a mixer and open a cookie package, youโ€™re qualified.
  • Crowd-pleasing magic. Chocolate, Oreos, and cream cheese rarely make enemies.
  • Make-ahead friendly. Chill it, forget about it, then impress people later.
  • Customizable chaos. You can tweak itโ€”or not. Itโ€™s already great.
Crushed Oreo cookies flavor the cream filling of cream cheese and whipped topping.

Making a No Bake Oreo Pie

Step 1: Make the Crust (or Donโ€™t)

You have options, and I respect that.

  • Store-bought route: Use one chocolate cookie crust and move on with your life.
  • Homemade Oreo crust:
    • Crush 25 Oreo cookies
    • Mix with 5 tablespoons melted butter
    • Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate
    • Place in freezer while you make the filling

Step 2: Make the Oreo Pie Filling

In a large bowl, beat 8 ounces softened cream cheese with ยพ cup powdered sugar until smooth and combined.

Gently fold in 2 cups whipped topping (thawed) and 10 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped.

Try not to eat half the filling straight from the bowl. Or do. Iโ€™m not your supervisor.

Step 3: Assemble & Chill

Spread the filling evenly into the prepared crust, then smooth the top like you mean it.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to slice without regrets. You already know what I’m going to say, but here it comes anyway, “refrigerate overnight for best flavors.” Now, that’s only if you can wait that long, and no, I’m not judging.

No Bake Oreo Pie has roughly chopped cookies in the filling for a delicious flavor that's not too sweet.

How to Customize This Pie (Highly Encouraged)

  • Extra chocolate: Drizzle chocolate syrup or add mini chocolate chips to the filling
  • Mint Oreo version: Use mint Oreos and call it festive
  • Peanut butter moment: Swirl in a few tablespoons of peanut butter
  • More cookies (obviously): Sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top before chilling

This pie is very supportive of your creative impulses.

Healthier-ish Options (Use at Your Own Risk)

  • Use light cream cheese and light whipped topping
  • Reduce the powdered sugar slightly if you like things less sweet
  • Make smaller slices and pretend thatโ€™s the healthy part

Results may vary. Dessert is still dessert.

A creamy filling in a chocolate crust can easily be decorated for special occasions.
