Keto Chicken Pinwheels are the perfect bite-sized solution for your low-carb, fast, flavorful, and keto-friendly needs. Making Keto Chicken Pinwheels
Start by laying the tortilla on a clean work space.
Spread the whipped cream cheese over the tortilla in an even layer. I used Chive flavored, but you can use other flavors, or even just plain cream cheese. If you use plain cream cheese, make sure you soften it first, because it will spread easier.
Next, spread the pesto sauce over the top.
Then, add your toppings to the top 2/3 of the tortilla. This is for easier rolling. For this recipe I used sliced cherry tomatoes and black olives, but you can customize it to your liking.
Add the shredded chicken, then lastly, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the top.

Now the fun part. Starting at one end, tightly roll the tortilla up, keeping in mind that you don’t want to roll it so tight that you squeeze out the toppings at the other end. It could end up being a pretty skinny roll that way.
So, roll it tightly, but try to keep the toppings in place.
Then, brush some melted butter over the top of the tortilla, or you can use an air fryer spray.
Lastly, cut the roll into 1 – 2″ thick pinwheels.
Place some parchment paper in your air fryer and carefully lay the pinwheels in the air fryer. Cook at 400ยฐ for 6 – 8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Alternatively, you can oven bake them. Same thing, only preheat the oven to 375ยฐ. Bake for 11 – 13 minutes, or until golden brown. You can always put them under the broiler for extra color and crispiness.

Ingredients
- 1 low-carb tortilla, (approx. 8-inch)
- 2 Tbsp. "Chive" whipped cream cheese, (or other flavor)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. pesto sauce
- 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tsp. butter, melted (or cooking spray)
Instructions
- Lay out the tortilla on a clean work surface. Spread the cream cheese, then pesto over the tortilla in an even layer.
- Add the tomatoes, black olives, then chicken in an even layer. Sprinkle cheese over top.
- Tightly roll tortilla up from one end to the other. Brush the rolled tortilla with melted butter. Cut the roll into 1 – 2-inch thick pinwheels.
- Line air fryer with parchment paper and carefully place pinwheels on the paper. Air fry at 400ยฐ for 6 – 8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- To oven bake: preheat oven to 375ยฐ and bake for 11 – 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Use broiler if you want added color. Enjoy!
