Making a No Bake Maple Pecan Pie

Start by NOT turning your oven on, because no baking is needed here. Yay!

Next, beat the cream cheese until nice and creamy, thereby no lumps remain.

Stir in the brown sugar (packed, of course), syrup, and cinnamon. Beat until thoroughly combined, then fold in the pecan pieces.

Pie Crust

Buy one pre-made or make your own with this Homemade Graham Cracker Pie Crust recipe. I find it’s better to bake the homemade crust, (they hold together better when baked), or buy the pre-made version that requires no baking. You can also buy a pecan pie crust by Diamond that I’m sure would be delicious with this recipe.

Once you have your pie crust, spread the cream cheese mixture into your pie crust by gently pushing down to press out air pockets. In other words, the cream cheese mixture is thick, so it doesn’t pour easily.

Then top with either Cool Whip or make yourself some homemade whipped cream. See the Notes section on the recipe card for recipe.

No Bake Maple Pecan Pie is an easy, layered dessert that requires no fussing, nothing fancy.

Garnishing your dessert.

With a little extra Cool Whip, pipe some trim around the outside edge or create a pattern across the surface.

Sprinkle some extra pecan pieces around, or some roughly chopped graham cracker crumbs.

Above all, have fun with it, you know it’ll taste better.

Pro Tips

  • Use real maple syrup โ€“ The flavor is deeper and more complex than imitation syrup.
  • Toast the pecans โ€“ Just a few minutes brings out their nuttiness and crunch.
  • Make it mini โ€“ Pour the filling into mini graham crusts for adorable, individual servings!
